This guide rod assembly is a complete drop in unit. Special features include a solid one piece stainless steel guide rod that has been CNC machined and comes with 3 custom removable  head tip. The kit also comes with 3 recoil spring in 18LB 20LB 22LB springs. This allows the shooter customize the recoil, based on the power of the load being used.

The ISMI recoil springs is manufactured from certified materials, heat treated for longer life, shot peened for stress relief

Experienced shooters realize plastic guide rods can chip, crack or break resulting in feeding or ejection failures and guide rod flex can contribute to accuracy problems. The Custom Recoil Rod addresses all of those issues.
