Created with the high-speed tactical operator in mind, the Magpul Dynamics team designed the Battery Assist Device or “B.A.D. Lever” to considerably improve the speed and efficiency of activating the AR-15/M16 bolt catch. With this device you can quickly address reloading and malfunction clearance utilizing the extended paddle on the right hand side of the weapon. This Magpul battery assist device lever allows the operator to manipulate the bolt stop from the fire control/ready position using the right hand trigger finger.

Precision crafted from MIL-SPEC anodized aluminum, the B.A.D. lever requires no permanent modification to the weapon, still allows traditional bolt catch use, and is fully functional for both left- and right-handed shooters.
